New to our Junior or Intermediate program?

Junior Information Seminar           Intermediate Information Seminar

The Newmarket Skating Club was established in October, 1953. We are a sanctioned member of Skate Canada. NSC is one of the largest Skate Canada clubs in the country, with 1000+ members. Many world class skaters began their careers with NSC - the most notable to date: Elvis Stojko!!!

We offer a full range of programs including learn to skate for children, figure skating, competitive programs and synchronized skating.

NSC is a not-for-profit organization served by a dedicated volunteer board and a highly skilled group of Professional Coaches.

Children as young as three years old can join our programs and learn to skate in a fun, recreational environment.

Regardless of which ice sport children choose (hockey, ringette, figure skating, or speed skating) they must all learn the same basic skills. If the skater learns the basic skating and ice skills in the Skate Canada program offered at NSC, they will have greater success and progress in any ice sport.

In partnership with the Town of Newmarket, Recreation and Culture Department, we also offer adult programs, so that you can keep up with your kids.

Further information and useful links are provided throughout our website and we are linked on Facebook (Like Us!).  Feel free to explore and learn what we have to offer you and your skaters!

If there is anything that you cannot find please do not hesitate to select the "Come See us or Contact Us" in the "Contact and Club Info" menu above and we will be more than happy to answer your questions.
